Gods_Plan[1]

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.  “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  In those days when you pray, I will listen.  If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.  I will be found by you,” says the Lord.  ” I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes.  I will gather you out of nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

Sometimes it  is hard to see the plans that God has for you, especially when everything seems to be going wrong.  It is at those times that we need to look to God and go to Him in prayer.   1 Thessalonians 5:16-18close1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (ESV) 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (ESV) tells us to “Rejoice always, pray continually and  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”.

If you pray through it all and try to find joy in even the small things, you will always have something to thank God for.  Even if it is simply  a summer rain, a child’s laughter, or that last piece of chocolate cake….
